Door of Hope

Thanks to a local church and caring volunteers, the Door of Hope ministry has saved nearly 2,000 abandoned babies in Johannesburg, South Africa. Allen Smith's parents adopted the first child rescued through the Door of Hope.

Rebuilding Together

This charity not only rebuilds homes that have fallen into disrepair but also rebuilds the lives of people in need. Formed in 1973 by a group of neighbors in Texas, Rebuilding Together now serves communities throughout the United States.

The Red Balloon Project

After Scott Wittig heard that a family friend's daughter had an inoperable tumor, he and co-founder Allen Smith created The Red Balloon Project to support kids who are fighting serious illnesses.

Military Missions in Action

This NC-based organization supports veterans, active military service members, and their families through a number of programs, one of which focuses on outfitting homes to be fully accessible.

Operation Coming Home

Through this organization, Go Realty and Garman Homes were able to provide a new home in Knightdale Station for the family of a fallen soldier. The home was no cost to the family.

Meet Allen Smith

Allen has lived in the Triangle area since 1983 and is known as the "got a guy" person — he usually knows a guy or gal who can help you with anything you need! In addition to assisting clients in the Raleigh area, Allen is actively involved in supporting Realtors through North Carolina through the NC RRC/CRS leadership team.
